Tornado Relief for St. Louis — How We’re Helping, and How You Can Too
On Friday, May 17th, a tornado ripped through St. Louis, leaving a trail of destruction across several neighborhoods, especially in North and South City, Clayton, the Central West End, and University City. Families lost homes. Streets are still strewn with debris. And tragically, the storm claimed lives—including that of Juan Baltazar, who was killed when the tornado struck his car close by his home in South City.
Juan’s family is now facing unimaginable loss and unexpected expenses. A verified GoFundMe page has been created to help support them during this time. We are sharing this to honor Juan and to spread his story to our woldwide community in hopes support reaches those most affected.
How We're Contributing — Starting May 20
Beginning Tuesday, May 20, Love Launch is donating 15% of all sales to local tornado relief efforts. In addition, we’re giving every customer the option to “Round Up for Relief” —so whether you're shopping in-store or online, you can make a direct impact, no matter the size of your purchase.
To Participate add Round Up For Relief to your shopping cart and select the amount you would like us to round up your purchase by.
We will be donating all funds raised to:
Juan Baltazar’s family
Action St. Louis, who are coordinating volunteers, supplies, and donations out of the North City YMCA in Florissant.
For Our St. Louis Community
If you're local, we are also collecting bottled water and toilet paper at our store on Tuesday, May 20. These items will be delivered directly to responders on the ground where they’re needed most.
There Are Many Ways to Help
We’re just one small effort in a big web of love and response. There are many amazing organizations doing urgent, hands-on work right now. If you’re able to give—time, money, supplies—please do. Every bit helps.
Our hearts are with our city, and with everyone who is rebuilding today.
